HIGH SCHOOL / JUNIOR HOCKEY

Attended Paramus Catholic. Played Varsity Hockey freshman, sophomore, and junior year of high school. Played Junior Hockey during his senior year of High School. Before playing junior hockey, Joe played 16u AAA for the New Jersey Avalanche and his team won districts and he won “All American” goalie of the year. Played Juniors in the USPHL premier league For the New Jersey rockets, and Wilkes-Barre Scranton knights for 3 years. Has been playing hockey since he was 7.

Born on 7/14/2001 in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. Son of Joe and Nelia Hughes and has one brother who also plays hockey.

Majoring in Criminal Justice.
